Questions
Good questions, straight answers.
Do my engineers need to download an app?
No. Siteloop runs in the phone's browser and adds itself to the home screen like an app, on iPhone and Android. They sign in once, then use Face ID or a fingerprint.
Does it work with Sage?
Yes — Sage Accounting (the online version). Send jobs to Sage as invoices in one click, import your customers, and payments recorded in Sage mark jobs as paid. Each of your companies can connect its own Sage account. Xero and QuickBooks aren't supported yet.
Can my engineers see what we charge?
No. Engineers never see costs, prices, rates or receipt images. You can also choose, person by person, whether they see customer phone numbers, take photos, raise purchase orders and more.
Is my data safe?
Your data is stored in a London data centre and sent over encrypted connections. Every firm's data is sealed off from every other firm's by the database itself, not just by the app. Engineers' locations are only shared after they tap "On my way" and are deleted when they arrive.
What happens when the free trial ends?
Choose Subscribe in Settings and pay by card. If you don't, nothing is deleted — you can still sign in and see everything, you just can't make changes until you subscribe.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, from Settings → Subscription. There's no contract.
I run two businesses. Do I need two accounts?
No. Add each company in Settings. Each gets its own job numbers, logo, accreditations and Sage connection, and you can limit staff to the company they work for.
Will you help us get set up?
Yes. There's a getting-started checklist and step-by-step guides inside the app, you can import customers straight from Sage, and you can email us any time.
